Free Virtual Collectible Card Game
Sphere CCG is a brand new and free virtual online CCG. Players can collect cards that can be used to create custom playable decks. Construct a deck using the built-in online deck editor. Play any of the six unique races or even combine them for a multi-race deck. Once your deck is complete you can play games online against opponent’s for free!
In Sphere CCG you are represented by Heroes that can Level Up to gain access to more powerful abilities. If a Hero card reaches level 5, it unlocks its ultimate ability! Base cards give you tactical advantages, so keep yours alive! You can play and complete Objective cards to receive unique rewards and experience for your Hero card. Boost the power of your Units with Equipment cards, but be careful that the Equipment card is not dropped, because it can be picked up – even by your opponent’s Units! You can move their Units and Hero to or from the Battlefield in order to attack your opponent, but be strategic about it because cards on the Battlefield are more vulnerable to attacks and spells. Some cards even have their own Energy which can spent on casting their abilities. Plus many other unique aspects to interest any fan of online CCGs!
Sphere CCG was created with the belief that an online CCG should be able to offer a full game experience that is more robust than its physical brethren. Yet, most online CCGs that you’ll find are oversimplified versions of physical CCGs. Do you want your online CCG to be a watered down kiddie game, or do you want your online CCG to be fun, challenging, and addicting? Compare the cards and rules of Sphere CCG with other online CCGs and you’ll find that the game mechanics and cards of Sphere CCG allow for a more interesting and dynamic online card game experience. Additionally, Sphere CCG is one of the few online collectible card games that allows you to respond to and interrupt your opponent’s actions.
Sphere CCG comes with a free starting deck of the player’s choice (36 to choose from). Players build their collection of cards just by playing games of Sphere online – each game you play gives you Sphere Points which can be used to get more cards! Beta testers receive an additional 2500 Sphere Points (enough to get 10 packs of cards) just for signing up! Play online as much as you want and build your collection for free!
Sphere CCG is the pet project of Robert Mann (the game’s creator and website administrator), but substantial recognition and thanks must go to the amazingly talented group of artists who have volunteered their efforts in order to make Sphere CCG much more striking and visually appealing. Unfortunately, due to family and other life constraints, I have been unable to devote as much time to Sphere as it is due. Hopefully in the near future I will once again be able to dedicate myself to bringing this project to its proper fruition. In the meantime, don’t let that stop you from enjoying the game! Sphere CCG is fully up and running and will provide gamers with a very rewarding experience; just forgive it for its lack of polish at this point in time!
